ASIA PACIFIC BEHAVIORAL ADDICTION AND MEDICINE CONFERENCE 2016
We were pleased to partner with APBAM to announce the 4th Asia Pacific Behavioural and Addiction Medicine (APBAM) Conference 2016. The Conference was hosted in our very own city of Solace, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
The theme of this conference was on alcohol and addictions and the collaboration with APCB, Solace Sabah and The Intervention Group for Alcohol Misuse is in response to the need to strengthen the capabilities of professionals in the region who work with persons with alcohol and other addictions.
The conference aims to equip professionals with knowledge and practical skills through 1-day pre-conference workshops and a 2-day conference. We have invited speakers with specialisation in addiction work to anchor the workshops and conference. The organising committee looks forward to host you and hope that this would provide a good platform and opportunity for you to network with fellow professionals working with persons with addictions and their families.
Hosted by Solace Sabah, the conference was a grand success! We hope to host many more conference in the future.
